Missions
What’s a Global Outreach Team?
We’re 10+ global-minded volunteers (including one staff member and one elder) that plan and implement strategies to empower Warner to reach the world for Christ. In addition to things you might see on Sunday morning such as videos and Connector inserts, we help to keep people informed and involved through things such as:
- Great Commission Sunday (annual missions event)
- Short Term Overseas Mission Trips
- Sunday School and LIFE group integration
How Can I Get Involved?
We are always looking for more hands, more ideas, and more prayer warriors. If you’re ready, willing, and able, we’d love for you to join us. We meet once a month. Watch the Connector for the next meeting or contact the church office.
Tell Me About Your Missionaries
As part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination (C&MA), budgeted missions dollars go to the Great Commission Fund (GCF). The GCF finances C&MA missionaries and their ministries.
Non-C&MA missionaries from our family and short term trips are not supported by the GCF. They are supported, “in faith,” through generous people like you who give regularly or when the need arises.
How Do I Give?
Contact the church office for more information on supporting our non-C&MA missionaries or short term trips. If you would like to give to the GCF, checks can be written to Warner Alliance Church with “Great Commission Fund” on the memo line.
Short Term Trips
In recent years, we have sent people to China, France, Guinea, Mexico, Thailand, and Vietnam. The cost of a typical 10 day trip averages about $2000 per person including airfare, meals, and lodging. Trip projects have included teaching English, healthcare, construction, and working with children. Depending on the group, we can adapt based on skills and needs. So let us know if you’re interested in going!
